Information about Andrew
An experienced and dedicated teacher with 20 years experience of teaching. I am presentable, professional and friendly. I work hard to ensure that every one of my learners succeeds in their studies.
I would like to help students with Maths and English as well as computing at KS3, KS4 and KS5 (AS/A2) (Maths to GCSE) through home tuition during the week and weekends. I can support students in other subjects, most notably in STEM (primarily Chemistry, Biology and Physics) and in Geography.
I think that I am a skilled communicator who can convey
often complicated knowledge and skills in an easy to understand manner. I am presentable, professional but friendly and can tailor my tuition to meet your needs and circumstances. Individual students who I have helped in my present role find me approachable and friendly and go on to succeed better than their peers in their studies.

Experience: I have been home-tutoring for a few years now in many different subjects and at many different levels. My students have met with success in their studies achieving good grades in their A-Levels, GCSEs and common entrance exams. This tutor streamed an Oak National Academy tutorial for the whole lesson with little contact with my daughter. Needless to say we won’t be using him again as you can access that learning aid free of charge online.

Andrew is a great tutor, really knowledgeable and able to answer any of my questions I ask throughout the whole class. As an adult learner its often harder to learn, but Andrew is very accommodating and is able to adapt to different learning styles. I highly recommend.

Andrew was very helpful for my son but they only did 1 session as my son then realised he actually knew more than he thought. Andrew talked through a couple of topics with him but they didn’t go into great detail.
