Cambridge Second Year Chemical Engineering student offering maths, physics and chemistry lessons in Altrincham, as well as Oxbridge admissions interview/assessment tutoring for Natural Sciences. Having been part of the first cohort to take all of the new GCSE’s, as well as recently completing the new A-level syllabuses, my knowledge of the KS3, KS4 and KS5 curriculums is up-to-date. I know how to revise effectively and can pass on these techniques to my students. My lessons will combine gaining a thorough understanding of the subject, rather than just memorising, and implementing that understanding into practice questions.

Experience: I am a second year Chemical Engineering student at the University of Cambridge. I studied Natural Sciences in my first year, taking maths, physics, chemistry and geology modules. I achieved 3 A*’s in maths, physics and chemistry at A-Level, as well as an A* in a 5000-word essay-based extended-project qualification titled, ‘To what extent can we replace oil-based plastics with biopolymers?’. I love sharing my knowledge and passion for science with others, most recently in tutoring students during sixth-form as requested by my teachers. I also achieved 9 x Grade 9’s at GCSE, in addition to an A in a further mathematics qualification (highest grade - Advanced FSMQ). Most importantly, I really enjoy teaching and helping others, which was demonstrated by my role as Head Girl for student wellbeing and mental health at school.
