Hello! My name is Akshita, and I am an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutor, currently in my second year as a medical student at Imperial College London. I am excited to offer my tutoring services in a variety of subjects, including Biology at A-level, GCSE sciences, KS3, as well as English and Maths for the 11 plus exams. Additionally, I am well-equipped to assist students in preparing for Medicine at university.

With a strong academic background, I bring a deep understanding of the subject matter to my tutoring sessions. I ensure that my students develop a solid foundation and a comprehensive understanding of the topics by breaking down complex concepts into manageable parts.

Firmly believing in a student-centered approach, I understand that each student has a unique learning style, and I actively consult with my students to identify their preferred methods of learning. By doing so, I tailor my teaching techniques to suit their individual needs, ensuring that the learning process is engaging, effective, and enjoyable.

Experience: Over the past two years, I have gained valuable experience in teaching through tutoring A-level and GCSE students, as well as those preparing for the 11 plus exams. Additionally, I have mentored students specifically for the UCAT and BMAT exams in the context of Medicine applications.
Through these experiences, I honed my ability to employ a range of teaching methods due to my exposure to various teaching courses and resources.

In addition to subject-specific tutoring, I am also adept at providing support for university applications by assisting students with crafting compelling personal statements, navigating the UCAT and BMAT exams, and preparing for the interview process. Drawing from my own experience and knowledge, I am able to offer valuable insights and strategies to help students stand out and succeed.
