Psychology postgraduate studying Health/ Medical psychology (MSc)
Graduate of psychology (BSc) with first class honours, and past A* Psychology student at A-levels.
Actively involved in conducting research on addiction via electroencephalography (EEG), and very apt at teaching research methods in a fun and effective way.
I pride myself on knowing many shortcuts and secrets to doing well in academia, and so a large part of my approach to tuition is to;
A. Enjoy the process - having fun and being able to laugh at some of the crazy things in psychology makes remembering them in the exam a lot easier!
B. Find the shortcuts, and find out what the examiners are actually looking for - the answers that they`re looking for are not always in the questions.
C. Appreciate that grades are the end result, but they depend _completely_ upon the process - do not get caught up on grades but focus on just doing your best, and the grade will something that happens once you have mastered the content.
Availability: Current schedule is open for bookings.
(all of my students (bar one) have gone off to university this year!)
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: Current: Private psychology tutor to seven students over the last academic year. Duties involve delivering the content (AQA/ Edexcel) and seeking to make the topics enjoyable and easy, from the perspective of an A* student. Bad humour, real-life examples and scenarios, and a substantial database of exam questions and exemplar answers mean that you will be well-prepared come exam day. My current student-base is a mix of face-to-face and online (Skype) tuition.Contact this Tutor
