I am an outstanding secondary mathematics teacher, I have been rated as outstanding by OFSTED. Teachers are observed throughout their career, always ask what grade they received for observations. I am an outstanding practitioner, pupils make outstanding progress when taught by me. This matters because poor teachers only make satisfactory progress with pupils.
I am currently teaching Maths in a successful local secondary school in Slough. I have also taken on a part time role in a primary school as a specialist maths teacher my role is to enable primary teachers to prepare their pupils for the year 6 Maths SATs. I am sure you are aware of the changes to the curriculum and exams in both primary and secondary and I am the most up to date practioner in my field.
I have been teaching for 17 years, I am highly experienced, especially in exam techniques. I am aware of recent changes to the curriculum and have ways to prepare my students for any exam questions they may face. Your child will love maths after they spend time with me.
Please note that homework will be provided each tutoring session and the expectation is your child will complete it. They are able to call or email me throughout the week if they have any difficulties completing it, but IT MUST BE COMPLETED. Progress is important and this can only be made if there is commitment from both the tutor and pupil.
Availability: Saturday and Sunday
Weekday afternoons.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have always wanted to teach, from a very young age. I have been teaching and tutoring for more than 10 years, since becoming a teacher. It is not east to teach effectively, not everyone can do this efficiently. I can, I have proven results at various schools. I have been employed as a Key-stage coordinator, this means I create the material for other teachers to enhance their teaching. I choose how and what topic we should teach.

I have wanted to keep Kulsoom a secret but that isn’t fair...Kulsoom has been tutoring my 10 year old since September and I’ve seen a huge improvement. Not only is my daughter better at maths, her entire attitude to learning has changed. Kulsoom makes maths really interesting and when I’ve been listening on to the classes, I’ve wished that I had a maths teacher like Kulsoom when I was a child. Don’t hesitate, get your child inspired about maths and learning by tutoring from Kulsoom ASAP!

On behalf of our daughter who really wants to do her best I spent considerable time researching various websites and maths tutors to find the absolute best tutor to teach our daughter who is in Year. 10 working towards her GCSE for her to truly grasp concepts and to fulfil her potential.
Without question in Mrs Kulsoom we have found the best as she is not only an outstanding passionate professional in her field up to date with recent changes to the curriculum but is also a truly very warm lovely Lady.
From the very beginning we were instantly drawn to Mrs Kulsoom`s profile and totally in agreement to her beliefs and ways of working regarding the completion of homework (between lesson contact is encouraged if required)
Prior to lessons starting Mrs Kulsoom confirmed that my daughter had a good attitude and desire to excel and took the time to ask relevant questions such as the exam board and any areas of particular difficulty.
Mrs Kulsoom understands the importance of an essential excellent rapport between teacher and pupil for teaching and learning to take place. Her teaching style is amazing, our daughter is thriving before our very eyes.
Mrs Kulsoom`s claims that progress will be made and a love of maths will be achieved are already evident and we are more than confident this will continue.
Mrs Kulsoom has already in such a short time instilled a love of maths in our daughter which is something we thought would never happen and has given her the self belief in her capabilities.
We love the way Mrs Kulsoom is interested in progression and learning with high expectations and how she sparks the interest, facilitates learning whilst ensuring a thorough understanding all with a patient attitude.

I have now passed my maths exam thanks to the help of kulsoom, I wouldn`t have been able to do it without her, I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to pass maths thanks again.
