Information about Annemette
I am a fully qualified teacher with a degree in Psychology and over 15 years experience in teaching A Level Psychology (AQA). I have been Head of Department at both independent and comprehensive schools where the results of my students have always been above their target grades and in the top 10% nationally. But tutoring is about more than just results. It is also about nurturing a passion for a subject, a confidence in ones own ability and a skill set that can be used again and again.
I offer tutorials specifically tailored to students individual needs and they will have full access to my materials. As a teacher, I know how important it is that a private tutor is fully qualified and up-to-date in their knowledge of the psychology specification and the exam requirements so that any help given is both relevant and effective. Students often get overwhelmed by the amount of information they feel they have to know and I help them focus on essential knowledge and effective arguments.

Annemette has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter, and I have no hesitation in recommending her. She took time to talk to me and my daughter about what she hoped to get out of the tutoring and what she was finding difficult. This has meant that the limited time we have before A levels can be targeted. Annemette has also given my daughter revision guides to maximise the effect of each session. The relationship is positive and professional; with minimal time she built trust with my daughter which has allowed them to work well together. Most importantly, working with Annemette has given my daughter the confidence she needs to get through her A levels - and even reignited some joy in the subject, which we thought was long gone!

Annemette has been wonderfully helpful with my son`s Psychology A level revision. She gives him excellent pointers on how to answer questions and revision techniques. He has also found her explanations of the topics has helped him understand them much better and so has increased his confidence.
