I am a fully qualified teacher with a degree in Psychology and over 20 years’ experience in teaching A Level Psychology (AQA). I have been Head of Department at both independent and comprehensive schools where the results of my students have always been above their target grades and in the top 10% nationally. But tutoring is about more than just results. It is also about nurturing a passion for a subject, a confidence in one’s own ability and a skill set that can be used again and again.
I offer tutorials specifically tailored to students’ individual needs and they will have full access to my materials. As a teacher, I know how important it is that a private tutor is fully qualified and up-to-date in their knowledge of the psychology specification and the exam requirements so that any help given is both relevant and effective. Students often get overwhelmed by the amount of information they feel they have to know and I help them focus on essential knowledge and effective arguments.
