I am interested in this posting about online teachers and tutors. I have been teaching for more than 20 years and my experience range from teaching children to adults in many different subjects (English, Psychology, Information Science and Technology, History, Business Management, Criminology, Biology and International Relations).
I spent some years in China teaching English to kindergarten, primary school children, high school, adults and business English.
I prefer to be creative and innovative in my teaching approach because I believe that not only should learning be fun but that people learn in their own way and as a teacher I strive to embrace different personalities and levels of experience for the benefit of the student.
I love to learn about new things everyday and find it a challenge to use current and new knowledge as part of my teaching. Students are encouraged to ask questions and be curious. I also encourage students not to be afraid to make mistakes as it creates a wonderful opportunity for exploring their own abilities and interests.
I may at times be strict with students to help them focus but I am always fair and kind and patient.
I believe that my experiences and educational background would be an advantage to any learning environment.
