Experience: I have been extremely fortunate to develop myself as a teacher within a dynamic and multi-cultural learning environment through my time teaching at various UK institutions especially at the [contact detail removed]. Having taught pupils from different backgrounds for years now, I have acquired resilience in my teaching to address the strengths and weaknesses of the individuals who have different learning styles and varied backgrounds. Presently, I am teaching English Language specifications at GCSE and AS/A level. In order to keep abreast with the latest developments in teaching and learning, I have been attending and participating in training courses for my personal and professional development.
I have excellent subject and in-depth UK National curriculum knowledge of all Key stages including KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5. Through years of teaching experience, I have devised the method of facilitating rather than dictating to be a highly beneficial method of teaching. I believe if students construct their own learning experiences, they will not only retain information longer, but they also become more confident in their own abilities. I always encourage and initiate students to think independently where they are forced to overcome an information gap, reflecting on past experience and then applying it in real world situations.
