I am an approachable and friendly person with a real passion for teaching Psychology. I always aim to produce and deliver engaging and suitably challenging lessons for my students. I enjoy using a range of teaching strategies to suit the needs of each individual student.
Due to my experience of examining for AQA, I am able to support students preparing for their A Level examinations and offer valuable insight and advice on what examiners are looking for and how to score highly in the A Level Psychology examinations.

Experience: I am a fully qualified teacher of Psychology with 12 years experience. I hold full QTS status and I have a 1st class honours degree in Psychology. Due to this, I have excellent subject knowledge in most areas of psychology. I currently teach in an Ofsted rated Outstanding secondary school in Nottinghamshire where I specialise in teaching A Level Psychology to the AQA specification. Yearly the results of the students whom I teach are well above national averages and those of similar centres, demonstrating my ability to support students in being able to access higher grades in the A level exams.
I have previous extensive experience of examining for the exam board AQA, having examined on both the new linear A Level exam paper and legacy exam papers. I am therefore competent in giving students advice on how to interpret exam questions and how to write focused answers which ultimately leads to achieving top marks in the exams.
