I provide tutoring services covering GCSE and A-Level Chemistry and Biology, and have eight years` experience working as a tutor as well as being a qualified teacher.

My tutoring style pushes students with a focus on moving outside of their comfort zone to have the greatest possible impact. I`m keen on setting weekly homework and push students to achieve the best grade they are capable of. I prefer to keep in regular contact with parents/carers and provide a written summary of each session to keep parents/carers informed of students` progress and note any concerns or praise I may have.

My students receive an online tracker. Students use this tracker to log all work they do outside of lessons and tuition, which I check each night. Every 2 days parents also receive a phone call to discuss the students progress (if they wish) both with workload and to discuss any concerns which may have arisen as a result of checking the student tracker.


I am happy to travel to students or meet students in a public location. I am also more than happy for parents/carers to attend sessions with students if they wish to and would encourage them to do so.

Experience: I have been working as a tutor since 2012 tutoring A-Level Chemistry and Biology. I also hold a PGCE and I am a qualified teacher specialising in Chemistry. I have taught in secondary and sixth form institutions where I taught Chemistry and Biology. I also currently work as a supply teacher in the greater Manchester area.

I have worked in research on Methanotrophic bacteria, and I`m currently completing a seccond masters in Analytical Chemistry.
