Information about Kimberley
I have a Masters in Classic studies with a distinction and two commendations, a BA in English and Drama and a LEVEL 3 NVQ in Childcare and 5 years working with mature students. I have over 6 years experience in a range of roles working with young people from 6-60 tutoring, personal mentoring, nannying, SEN support and working with young people in care.
I am a very caring and responsible person with a passion for childcare. Whether it be in a role of nanny, tutor or mentor I thrive in a role where I am able to use my own skills to enrich the lives of children.
I take time to get to know the parents or carers who employ me, as well as the individual needs of each child. My experience and education mean that I am able to be resourceful and proactive in creating a fun, safe, nurturing and educational atmosphere for the young people in my care.
I enjoy providing activities where children are stimulated and engaged. I am experienced and knowledgeable in nutrition and hygiene and am open to discussion with parents and carers regarding other services they may need(e.g. housework, shopping etc).
A cause very close to my heart is the welfare of children and ensuring that each young person is given the care and nurturing they need.
