Hello, I am Osmaan, a UCL 2nd year Medical Student who is an enthusiastic and outstanding tutor for a variety of subjects.

11+/Entrance Exams: Having personally attended Wilson`s School and having also been accepted into 2 other grammar schools, I have first hand experience in the 11+ process. Not only this but I have also tutored children both one to one and in groups who were aiming to enter into a grammar school. Furthermore having been taught by teachers that mark the 11+ exams I know exactly what they are looking for, an insight not many other tutors are able to say they possess.

Maths/Biology/Chemistry: I have studied these subjects all the way up to A Level - and have achieved A*s in all three at both GCSE and A Level. Hence I feel that I am a confident teacher in all of the above upto GCSE. I have a strong grasp of the concepts in these subjects and I am able to explain these in simple and nuanced ways to students.

Medical School Preparation: This includes UKCAT, BMAT and Interview preparation. I applied to UCL, Kings, Queen Mary and St. Georges` for medicine and I recieved all 4 offers. I currently attend UCL and have recently completed my first year there. I have a strong insight in the process of applying to medicine, as well as the entrance tests required for them. Having scored an average of 783 in the UKCAT (now called the UCAT) I know techniques and tips and tricks which can be used. Similarly with the BMAT my strongest section was the essay section - which plenty of universities ask about in interviews. With previous experience of teaching UKCAT and interview preparation with success I have plenty of knowledge to give.

Personal Statement Help: I am also able to help write/draft personal statement for university applicants. I have had my own personal statement commended several times and I could also show this upon request for inspiration.

Experience: I have taught classes sized between 5-20 students between the ages of 5 and 16 (GCSE) both maths and english while working at a tutoring company. Additionally I have experience with previous students, primarily for 11+ preparation but also a few at GCSE and A Level.
