I have a true passion for teaching and encouraging students to question the world around them. I thrive on improving pupil’s knowledge and understanding by using ‘outside the box’ ideas and humour to explain key concepts. I work well with all students, finding the approach to a topic that suits them the best, pushing them beyond what they think they are capable of.

I am hard working, conscientious and, as a teacher, I am completely child centred. I am highly versatile, approachable, adaptable and pride myself on being able to make the difficult areas of academic subjects accessible for all.

I am offering a range of services, from preparation for GCSE assessments to a pre A-level Chemistry preparation courses in addition to regular GCSE Sciences and A-Level Chemistry Tuition.

All tuition sessions are recorded and each students is given a Google Classroom through which they can access the recordings for revision as well as a range o resources tailored to their needs.

Experience: I am a fully qualified teacher within the secondary sector with 10 years’ experience to draw upon. I have a proven track record of success in assisting pupils who sit on the 4/5 borderline as well as those aiming for 7/8/9 grades, with my most recent cohort achieving top grades.

Had some fantastic results this year with students going form a 4-8 and 5 - 9 and a 1 - 5. SO proud of them all

I have experience tutoring across a range of ages and am sought after within my area to provide advice to pupils about general revision techniques as well as tutoring in my subject areas.
