Oyinda Grace

Hi, I`m Oyinda and I`m currently studying Biosciences at the University of Sussex in preparation for Medical Neuroscience. I have been an academic tutor for 4+ years, specializing in Biology and Chemistry as well as preparing primary years for SATs and the 11+ . I pride myself on being familiar with the requirements of the various examination boards and teaching experience with a range of abilities.

After a session with my student I am usually able to tailor my teaching style to each individual as I`m aware that this can be difficult in the classroom. I like to ensure progress is made from the first session be it raising my student`s confidence in themselves or covering a particular topic. I like to provide an holistic approach to teaching including covering exam technique, topics and application of knowledge. I often find that this way students are able to engage more with what they are learning and the results are evident. The end goal is making sure my student is confident in their own abilities as well as walking into the exam room.

I am very much committed to helping students achieve the best grade possible, be it the higher end or a significant improvement. I also love to see my students enjoy what they are learning! I believe it is possible to have fun with Science or Maths and view learning in a positive light - this way, results are guaranteed!

Availability: Wednesdays (all day)
Friday (from 5pm)
