I am an enthusiastic and friendly 20-year-old student studying English Literature with Study Abroad at Exeter University. I have gained a place on a training course with Teach First in 2019 to train to become a primary school teacher. I have a keen interest in fashion and fashion drawings and would like to gain experience in the fashion industry. My ultimate goal is to eventually be able to publish my own writing and drawings. I am reliable, organised, kind and dependable. I work well in a team or group, as I am loyal, adaptable and accepting to other people’s ideas. I consider my determination and energetic, positive outlook in everything to be particular personal strengths.

Experience: During the summer of 2017 I worked as an au pair for 5 weeks in Benidorm, Spain. It was a truly unforgettable, rewarding and life-changing experience. The family had two daughters, Alexia (9) and Naroa (3). I was assigned to teach English to the eldest daughter Alexia. I taught her English vocabulary skills, spelling, grammar and KS2 Mathematics every morning from 10am till 12:30pm. We also read English books aloud to improve her pronunciation. From 10am till 3pm we spoke in English, but afterwards she was free to speak in Spanish. Her confidence and proficiency in English vastly improved during my time there, and I continued to teach her over Skype for 5 months after I returned home. I am still in contact with the family.
