Information about Konstancija

Educated at the Eduardas Balsys Gymnasium of Arts in Klaipeda, Lithuania from the age of five, I quickly developed my musical talent, performing at a variety of festivals and competitions.
Upon relocating to London, I was accepted to the Royal College of Music Junior Department (RCM) where I continued my music career as a violist.
During my studying at the Royal College of Music I had an opportunity to perform at the Junior Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.
In 2014 I was offered a scholarship at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. I have been developing my music skills by attending various masterclasses including the Carducci quartet and with Andriy Viytovych.
During my music training years, I have been coached by professors Sarah-Jane Bradley, Michal Kaznowski and my current teacher Rivka Golani.

In 2018 I continued my studies at Trinity Laban for my masters degree.

I am a determined and self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a pressurised environment and taking part in challenges. I am a good listener and enjoy learning and applying new skills. I am happy to undertake tasks independently but also enjoy working as part of a team. Attributes such as patience, trust and determination have been invaluable to me when working in a team. I enjoy good humour and I am a willing learner who illustrates an enthusiastic approach to my work.

My music degree requires me to participate in many team working activities including orchestras and chamber groups which have enhanced my team working skills even further.
I love what I do with passion. There is no better feeling than helping others to learn more about music and educating them further on the instrument and music world itself.

Availability: I am pretty flexible with the availability so we can try and work a mutual availability on a weekly basis. (I usually teaching all day on the weekends)

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: During my years of education I had opportunities to help school`s orchestras/ strings section. This has given me experience of working with larger pupil groups. I would also help individual students who were struggling with their parts.

While studying at the music conservatoire I have been teaching privately viola and violin students since 2013. I teach different levels of playing from beginners to professionals. Most of my students are working towards ARBSM examinations which helps them to carry on with their progress and keeps them on track and motivated long term.
I manage my time well therefore I make the use of the lesson very wisely and make sure we cover more than expected.

Some of my students have successfully passed Grades 6 - 8 with distinction and secured their place at the youth orchestras after successful auditions. (Such as NYO)

I am also currently teaching at Enfield Saturday Music Centre and primary schools around Enfield borough.

I have completed the following training:
• Child protection training
• Music and pupils with additional needs (SEND)
• Music and psychology
