Although I do not have a teaching degree, teaching is something I am incredibly passionate about. I strongly believe that I am very familiar with the UK curriculum and I love tutoring and know that sometimes being tutored by someone closer to your age can be an incredibly important experience for children.
I have two years of experience at Tuition Centres and worked with the 11+ groups consistently through two exam periods. I was also at a grammar school (top 50 grammar schools) from years 7 to 13, which greatly helps build rapport with young students who are aiming to go to grammar schools as I will be able to answer lots of their questions>;
I also have experience teaching Chemistry at a GCSE level as I tutored Year 11 students last year with my school mentee programme, and continued to do so this year. I really love chemistry and am currently taking an undergraduate Chemistry degree at the University of Southampton. I have a really good learning technique which enabled me to get an 8 at GCSE chemistry and a B in my A-Level exams.
