I am a highly motivated, positive person who always identifies and brings out the best in my students. I am enthusiastic, engaging and creative in my teaching as I tend to use teaching strategies which encourage students to learn quite easily and develop their understanding. This makes lessons more enjoyable and allows students to build their confidence.

Recently finished studying a FdA in Professional Studies in Childhood and progressed onto a BA top up degree in Childhood Studies. I intend to complete a PGCE/Teacher Training course once I have completed my BA, in order to gain QTS, as my career aspiration is to become a primary school teacher.

Experience: Employed as a Teaching Assistant, for over 4 years, within a primary school. Currently based in Year 6, supporting pupils in preparation for their SATs. Over five years of experience working within a range of educational settings with pupils aged between 3-11 years. Experience of supporting children in all primary subjects enabling them to develop well but also furthering their learning and development. Experience of working with pupils on a one to one basis therefore, able to tailor to meet the needs of individual pupils. Excellent subject knowledge of the Primary Curriculum (KS1 & KS2) allowing to support pupils to fulfil their educational goals and developmental needs.
