I`m a great science and maths tutor with plenty of experience teaching students ranging from 10-18 years old. I understand that many students find concepts in these subjects difficult to grasp, and so I`m committed to coming up with creative ways of explaining the topics involved.

I have great subject knowledge, with As at A level in Chemistry, Biology and Maths, which I have maintained through tutoring over the past few years. In particular I have been tutoring students in the new A level syllabuses, and am currently teaching the new GCSE syllabus. In addition to the usual GCSE and A level science subjects, I also tutor for the physical sciences section of the GAMSAT exam.

I have recently finished my PhD at UCL, and now split my time between teaching one-on-one at a school, and tutoring students.

Availability: Monday-Friday: Daytime and evenings

Experience: I have been tutoring all sciences at GCSE level, chemistry and biology at A level and maths at all levels (11+, KS3, GCSE and A level), for the past four years.

I have also helped students prepare for specialist exams, such as graduate entry medicine (e.g. GAMSAT) and undergraduate level chemistry.

I often work with students preparing for GCSEs and A levels; we work on exam technique as well as the subject content. Having had lots of practice with past questions, I find students feel more relaxed and prepared for the exam, helping them to achieve their goals. This year my students achieved A grades in A level Biology and Chemistry, and grade 8 in GCSE science.
