I believe the key to learning is engagement which is why I work hard to engage with students and tailor my approach to the individual.
I am an experienced tutor with a strong academic background particularly in Maths, Science and English although I can support various other subjects. I graduated university with a First Class Masters degree in Engineering.
Availability: Available most Evenings and Weekends. Can be flexible on date and times.
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: I’m currently tutoring students aged 11 to 16 in a range of subjects in the Bracknell/Wokingham area and have several years experience.
I have also engaged with young people as a sports coach (Badminton, Squash), as a Duke of Edinburgh award mentor and as a STEM outreach ambassador. I am educated to Masters degree level.

Jamie has been teaching my daughter since November 2017. My daughter loves his teaching style - not too formal like school. He utilises various examples and skill to help her understand the subject and he breaks things down. She always looks forward to session with him.

Hi, we have only just starting employing Mr Jamie so I cannot comment on results yet. However he is a pleasant young man and built a good rapport with our teenage daughter and they appear to work well together. He normally arrives on time and alerts us in advance if something is going to make him a little later. He is flexible and has agreed to Skype my daughter`s lesson while we are away. I would recommend Mr Jamie.
