Availability: In the summer holidays I am available during the day 9- 5pm, and during the weekends. I prefer to teach online but am prepared to travel within a 1 mile radius of where I live in Redbridge.
In the first instance, parents should email me through this site so that I can establish how I can specifically help their child with their precise learning needs.
Willing to travel: 1 miles
Experience: I have over thirty years experience in the education sector as a class teacher, deputy head teacher, head teacher. education consultant and inspector of church schools. For the past twenty years I have taught KS2-3 Maths and English, GCSE Maths, English Lit, English Language, A level English Literature, and Essay Writing as a private tutor.
I am an experienced and patient teacher whose primary aim is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment in which children can improve their grades and become confident, happy, and successful learners.
I work with children from KS2 (including 11+ prep) right up to GCSE, and I especially enjoy working with children and young people who have an SEN or are stuck in lower sets.
In my online classes, I use fun and challenging teaching apps, games and presentations to keep your child engaged and focused throughout. These resources are available for practice and review outside the lessons.
