Information about Liz
I have 15 years teaching experience delivering biology, chemistry and physics to GCSE at all levels. I have vast experience tutoring and currently tutor pupils from year 7 up to year 11.
During my teaching career I worked for 10 years as a Head of Science in large secondary schools. I currently work as a lead science author for a publishing house.
My track record for raising confidence and so attainment in pupils is excellent. All my tutees show improvement in a very short space of time.
I am equally confident and competent across all aspects of the science curriculum and have in depth knowledge of the 9-1 grading system.
Having worked for a number of years as an examiner I am able to develop exam technique effectively which can have a huge impact.
I am experienced working with dyslexia and other SEN and work to not only increase knowledge but also to raise self confidence.
Availability: I`m available evenings and weekends with some day time availability on request.

Liz has a lovely manner of teaching and my daughter likes her teaching style and she is findjng it very useful. Liz also makes sure that gets the resources to help my daughter learn better. Excellent. My son was really engaged and enjoyed his science tuition with Liz. He was able to transfer learning skills to other subjects too. He is thrilled with his GSCE results. He had been struggling with separate sciences but with Liz`s help, he has walked away with high grades in every one. Thank you Liz for everything!

Liz is an amazing teacher, passionate about Science and highly qualified. She has a way of engaging and pushing your child to achieve their full potential. Luke loves his sessions and how Liz brings Science alive but also how she takes time to build upon his knowledge and understanding at each session. Very flexible and thorough. Luke had fallen way behind at school despite being strong on Physics and Chemistry. We feel like Liz has rescued us. Her energy is infectious!!!! Thank you:)
