I am a qualified languages teacher with over twenty years teaching experience. I have experience teaching GCSE and A Level French and I am passionate about helping students to reach their full potential. All tuition is tailored to the individual needs of each student and the majority of students choose to remain with me for over a year until they have completed their studies.

Having studied French at University and lived in Normandy, I went on to complete my PGCE at the University of Bristol. I then taught French, German and Spanish at a number of secondary schools and to all abilities. I have been doing private tuition for a number of years for students of all ages and abilities, including adults.

Availability: Any time Monday-Saturday.

Experience: I have worked in a number of secondary schools teaching French at KS3, GCSE and A Level. Additionally, I have lots of experiece doing 1:1 tutoring at home and abroad for GCSE and A level, as well as Common Entrance. As a qualified MFL teacher I have also taught German and Spanish at primary school and KS3 level.

I have also taught adults, from beginners to intermediate and beyond, which I find very satisfying. There are many people who have had poor experiences of language teaching at school and who as adults, get great satisfaction from conquering a language.

I am very knowledgable about current exam board syllabuses, and have an extensive range of material to guide students through exams. All my students go on to exceed teacher predicted grades and I am delighted that some have gone on to study languages at University.
