I have a BA degree is Sociology and Social psychology along with Applied Quantitative Methods in social sciences (AQM).
I have recently graduated from Essex University with a Master degree in Survey methods in social sciences.
I have an excellent experiences in teaching children, A-level students. I have been involved in training a group of first year students on how to do advanced statistics research using software such as SPSS and STATA.
During my Sociology course, I have learnt a rang of theories related to child psychology and development. I previously worked as a Teaching Assistant with a love for children and two years of experience working at primary School. My professional experience includes providing a safe and fun learning environment for preschool children on a daily basis.
As a teaching assistants, I supported children of all abilities with mathematics, reading and writing at an individual, class and group level. I have also used innovative teaching techniques and tailored communication strategies to support 8 children with special needs.I have also generated ideas to develop programmer for learning and associated materials for class activities. I was responsible for planning and implementing learning opportunities specific to the needs of children.
Most recently, when I have finished my BA degree with a first, and I have been prized for the best BA dissertation. Consequently, I have participated in the Dissertation Panel Day at the University of Essex to help students manage their time and provide some strategies to deal with the stress and anxiety when students do their dissertations.
Three of my assignment works were published in the Sociology Department Journal (IDEATE) with outstanding grades. Two of them were hypothetical researches that are related to different topic such as happiness among elderly and mental health. I have also a good communication skills and strong numerical skills and attention to detail. I have gained an excellent experience of managing data and using statistical software such as SPSS and STATA.
