Information about Emily
I am currently studying for my Masters in Architecture at Glasgow School of Art after two years of working in an architecture practice in London. Previous to this, I achieved a first class degree in Architecture at Cambridge University. At sixth form I achieved A* grades in Maths, Physics, Biology and Art and previous to this I achieved 12 A/A* GCSE`s.
I am able to tutor a range of subjects at GCSE level and below, in particular Maths, the sciences and Art. I can assist with Oxbridge Applications and developing a portfolio for Art/Architecture School.
Availability: I am available at any time.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: I have one year of experience tutoring Maths and Science at GCSE level. I have also been a hockey coach for children ages 11 to 15, and spend two years mentoring architecture students. When in sixth form, I helped in my local girl guide group.
Whilst working at an architecture practice in London, I lead the work experience scheme which aimed to introduce disadvantaged students to the architecture profession.
I enjoy working with children and young people and helping them develop confidence - whether it be academic or otherwise.
