Experience: I was hired to teach French during my first year at Kenyon College as part of the university`s Assistant Teaching Program. I underwent regular training sessions and taught French to between five and ten students four nights a week. I followed a detailed lesson plan sent daily by the main professor with whom I met regularly to discuss the progress of my students.
During my third year, I studied abroad in Paris at the Sorbonne. I was hired to teach English thirteen hours per week at the school I`d attended as a teenager. I devised my own lesson plans and worked with students from ages ten to eighteen, often teaching upwards of 25 pupils at a time. I adapted my lesson plans to suit the ages and needs of the individual age groups, focusing on games and vocabulary with the younger pupils while honing finer points of grammar and culture with the eighteen year olds who were preparing for their Baccalauré;at in the Spring.
When I returned to Kenyon senior year, I was hired to teach intermediate French, a task normally reserved for a native French intern. Having attained fluency in French through academia, I know what it takes to help students acquire a language through study.
I have continued to teach languages since moving to London to attend drama school. I currently work with three well regarded tutoring agencies in London and tutor a wide range of students in English and French. I currently work with students from primary to adult learners and have extensive experience working with children with special needs. I have received excellent reviews from parents and adult learners and tailor my approach to suit each client.

My daughter had lessons with Reed for 6 months to get ready for an A Level. He was of a great help as she finally acquired confidence that she had never had before, learned a lot of grammar, practiced speaking and writing. Reed is punctual, flexible, responsible tutor, that has a lot of knowledge to share. We are very happy with him, he is a brilliant tutor that is able to explain everything in an easy way. Definitely recommend him to everyone!
