Hi! I graduated in Classics from the University of Cambridge this past summer. In my final year, I narrowed my study down to my main areas of interest: Greek literature, Latin literature and Archaeology. I also wrote a 10,000 word thesis on Latin literature: Medusa, the gaze and the female body. I love my subject, and I love sharing knowledge and enthusiasm with young people.

My tutorials usually involve catching up from the last session, making sure we`re really consolidating what we`re learning as we go, rather than covering everything and ending up with a massive amount of revision to do come exam time! 

I also like to get a sense of the student`s interests and play around with what we`re learning to make it more accessible. In the past, we`ve translated silly stories and come up funny ways to remember tenses together. 

In my free time, I play netball and tennis and do a lot of cooking. I`m currently living in Delhi where I work with a women`s rights NGO.

Availability: Available all afternoons and early evenings as well as all day at weekends.

Experience: I have tutored several students, both in person and online. I have spent three months teaching English full time as a volunteer in India to children between the ages of 3-16. I am currently helping students online with English grammar and accent reduction. I have also independently led classes in an English language institute.
