Information about Jane
I am a very experienced primary school teacher and tutor. I teach English at all levels from KS1 to yr7, Maths for all primary stages and 11 plus exam preparation. I have always continued working in schools so I am fully up to date with all the latest curriculum developments. Over the years I have taught many students who have developed their confidence, skills and self belief. I tailor my sessions to suit your child`s preferred learning style and I am happy to liaise with their school if required. I work from a dedicated office in my home. Parents are welcome to stay and observe sessions or wait, or equally to leave their child and return later. I have a full DBS certificate and I would be happy to provide references.

Jane is absolutely perfect. Our son is sitting the 11+ and we found her at short notice following the lift on covid lockdown. He was very reluctant to have a tutor (or to study more!) and she has made it an utter pleasure for him. We don`t even have to push him to practice at home! She is very approachable, listens to both the concerns of parent and child, and is generous with her teaching time. Completely recommend her!

A shaft of light - in the darkness of 11+ We were lucky to find Jane for some 121 sessions for my Daughter to help bolster her 11+ confidence and tactics. We wish we had gone to her earlier on, as we found her enthusiasm and attitude addictive, my daughter was looking forward to having her sessions with Jane. My daughter took the 11+ exam last week, we don`t know the results yet, but nevertheless, the experience with Jane was nothing but positive and reassuring. Would recommend Jane to anyone with 11+ tuition needs. Sincerely, Colin
