I love working with young people and helping them to understanding their own ways of learning and sharing some strategies to help them along their journey. It is wonderful to see students flourish, just by having some simple techniques, which allows them to see education and learning in a whole new way... inspiring and motivating them to achieve their potential.
I offer two core programmes to allow your child to improve study skills and access their learning and education, in order to maximise their potential.
Study Skills: This is delivered over 4 sessions which allows the techniques to be developed as part of a personalised learning plan, therefore making it more sustainable.
Each session is 1 hour long and teaches your child key skills in understanding key study techniques, learning styles, improving concentration, memory and managing stress.
Managing Stress to improve learning: Did you know that when you are stress, your cognitive functioning and memory is impaired?
During this 6 week programme, your child will be coached to understand the stress response and how it effects their ability to learn, study, think and remember, being given strategies to overcome panic, worry or anxiety in the classroom or exams, in order to optimise their performance and results.
Each week, your child will be given worksheets and information. This will enable them, and you, to review what they learnt and practice techniques at home, making sustainable changes to their life.
Topics covered will include:
Introduction to stress
Becoming more assertive
Developing support networks
Action Planning, relaxation and review
This is particularly beneficial for students with:

* Gifted and talented
* Underperforming due to anxiety
* Stuggling with or fear of exams
* Low self esteem/Confidence
* Social communication difficulties
* Learning difficulties
* Struggling to cope in school.
