I am a classically-trained piano teacher with over 18 years’ teaching experience. I have qualifications from Trinity College of London (ATCL), London College of Music (Dip LCM) and Associated Board (Dip ABRSM). I have taught children from 5 years up to adults and am able to tailor lessons to the pupil’s level and learning style. My strengths are recognising and playing music by ear as well as arranging similar sounding music together, sometimes fused with pop, funk or blues influences.
In addition to teaching, I have also written online articles about learning piano. My performing experience extends to playing solo in music festivals, bars and other venues in North London, performing as an accompanist for other musicians during their exams and with classical music ensembles and bands.
