I have over ten years experience teaching GCSE English Language in a Further Education College with SEND/Neurodiverse students - particularly dyslexic students. I am happy working with students re-taking GCSE or first-time learners (aged 14+) and ESOL students.
I am very experienced at tailoring English resources to suit student interests and learning needs to aid engagement and can advise and demonstrate the use of assistive technology and learning strategies for students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) and other Neurodiverse qualities.
I have British Sign Language Level 6 and offer introductory/basic sessions with a view to recommending further study at Level 1 and above with a Deaf tutor
I am conversant with assistive technology and Microsoft products and can deliver beginner and intermediate sessions with those wanting to use these technologies for their own study or for teaching. I can also deliver basic IT skills to people nervous about using technology or wanting help/advice about using IT for work or study.
