I am a native French speaker, Chartered Linguist and Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists with a MA from France in Modern Foreign Languages and two teaching qualifications: Diploma in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (DAEFLE from Alliance Française) and Certificate in teaching English to adults (CELTA) from St Giles College. I am also a professional chartered translator registered with the French Consulate in London and a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists in London. As a member of the CIOL Translating Division, I regularly contribute to articles published on CIOL’s website.

I have worked in the UK for 30 years, including in education, and I have provided French tuition to children, teens and adults via carefully planned face-to-face and online lessons (Skype, Zoom and MS Teams) for a few years. Amongst my younger students, some attend UK schools and others French schools, so I have a good understanding of both the UK and the French education systems.

I am also a qualified translator and I am registered as such with the French Consulate in London.

I have also had an extensive career spanning education, export and marketing as well as international regulation, which have allowed me to develop and demonstrate strong project management, organisation and diplomatic skills.

I am a mother of two.

Experience: I have been a private French tutor for many years. I have taught French to groups of children in a Saturday morning schools and I provide private tuition to both children and adults - French KS3, GCSE, Business French, A levels, CNED and I can prepare students for various exams like DELF, DALF etc . I have also taught French to university students as well as adults in evening classes and to business clients.
