I am a medical student and I have been involved in tutoring a number of different children of wide range age groups.

I am always calm and patient person, through experience I learnt that persistence is key whilst maintaining a friendly and open environment to maximise the learning ability of the child. Appreciating that every student is different and is his/her own individual in terms of learning I therefore, tailor my approach accordingly.

Priority finds the weakness of the child/children by doing initial assessments and also inquiring the need of the students. Then step by step teach them following the national curriculum (personalised). While assessing them continuously with past papers for them to get used to the questions and develop best techniques of answering within a shortest time because exam is all about timing. This way they will get confidence and be calm in their exams boosting their results. Set a clear goal and work progressively toward that goal.

Provide personalised report for the parent on weekly bases of the achievements in order for them to be aware of the progress of their child. This report will include everything that was taught subject by subject. This report will show the parent the progress towards the goal set at the beginning.

Casual and lighthearted, but firm environment is what suits the approach I choose to take with teaching best. I am able to adapt to a number of learning styles including kinesthetic, visual, aural and verbal. Don`t hesitate to contact me if you think this approach would suit your child/children.
