For the past 4 years, I have been working at an independent prep school in Surrey alongside tutoring for common entrance exams such as the 7, 11 and 13+.

Having taught at two Ofsted `Outstanding` schools in different areas of London, I am equipped with the understanding of how to make learning enjoyable for children and most importantly, how to close gaps in their learning. I have been teaching for 8 years, with outstanding lesson observations and group work awarded by experienced professionals.

To enter into teaching, I took the fast track route through Teach First, working alongside top graduates from Cambridge and Oxford which was both extremely rewarding and challenging.

I have strong experience with years 1-6 alongside ample success stories of where I have had an impact working 1:1 as a tutor. My students would describe me as creative in my approach to their learning as children learn best when they are highly motivated and engaged.

Alongside being in the classroom, I currently run several small intervention groups where I support children with Phonics, English and Maths in order to achieve national standard. These have proven to be highly successful due to meticulous planning and organisation where I set SMART targets for the children.
