I have been teaching in a primary school for the last four years as well as tutoring. I am passionate about teaching and have a creative teaching style. I believe it is important to know how an individual learns and I structure my teaching to suit that learning style. I like to create a goal-driven, achievable plan with the parent and child to identify what areas need to be focused on - this also helps me to get to know the student and their learning style. I have a good rapport with all my students and I enjoy watching their confidence grow which is a key benefit of 1:1 tutoring. I have experience tutoring all ages of primary school children, SEN children and children taking the eleven plus.

I am DBS checked, have an undergraduate degree in history and music and a PGCE giving me qualified teacher status. I am available to tutor for the 11+ exam, KS1 and KS2.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings from 4pm-9pm and weekdays all day during the school holidays.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have lots of experience tutoring children for the eleven plus exam as well as all ages of primary school children including SEN children. In addition to this, I am a full time primary school teacher. I really enjoy tutoring and building a rapport with my students which enables me to watch them develop in confidence, a key benefit of 1:1 tutoring.
