Based in Berkshire and West Midlands, I am an independent private tutor with extensive experience in providing key aid towards a child`s education. Previously, I attended a top grammar school in Berkshire and completed my A levels with excellent grades. I excel in tutoring students of key stages 1 all the way up to GCSE, including specific 11+ preparation.

Having worked with a wide range of students of different ages and abilities, I adapt my teaching techniques to suit the individiual`s needs. I employ friendly and interactive methods to ensure students feel engaged whilst taking the most from their lessons. My comprehension of the subjects allows me to provide a wide range of resources, during lessons, for homework and online, to aid with revision and exam preparation. I provide a learning plan to ensure both student and parent are up to date.

I have also worked with students with severe learning difficulties such as Dyslexia and short-term memory loss. I tend to develop a long term relationship with my students that helps understand their requirements whilst mting a professional approach to lessons.

To ensure my students excel at their studies, I have worked on a variety of revision guides and support material. I have created short hand summaries as well as detailed exam packs to allow a complete grasp of each subject.

With regards to 11+ examinations, I have a high success rate as I work very specifically towards the exact format of the exams, ensuring that all aspects such as Non-Verbal and Verbal Reasoning along with Maths and English are covered. Regular homework is always provided to ensure my students recap their learning at home too.

I provide all eleven plus related information such as key dates for every parent`s diary and keep the parent and child updated about any changes made to the examinations. Help with application forms and deadlines will be provided.

Experience: I have been privately tutoring an extensive number of children of Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 for the past 6 years, majority of whom are now at some of the most esteemed grammar and private schools in the country.

I have prepared students for entrance examinations for well known private schools: Harrow, Wellington and Reddam College to name a few. A number of those who pass their entrance examinations manage to att 100% scholarships as a result of their high marks.

Along with providing learning aid towards the National Curriculum, my 11+ success rate is valuably high as a vast majority of my students pass the examination for Berkshire and Buckinghamshire schools.

As a result of my success rate, I have expanded and taught students outside of the UK through online lessons. I also provide online lessons to those who either live a great distance away or are on holiday but would still like to continue their learning.

Every child takes valuable help which has resulted to moving to higher sets in school and some have been selected to compete on a national level.
