I am a qualified primary school teacher with more than 19 years experience. Since studying Education at the University of Exeter, I have gone on to teach in two Schools in Hampshire and Devon.
In recent years I have held additional Senior responsibilities in school. I have been a Year Leader, Key Stage Leader and a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
I am a published author (Quick Fix For Year 6, Scholastic). This is one of the very few resources for teachers that explains how to teach children to answer reading and comprehension questions.
I live in Exeter with my husband and our two young children.

I tutor from my home on the edge of St Leonards in a well resourced, quiet and comfortable office.

My approach to 11+ preparation is structured, personalised and professional. I use regular informal assessments to inform the next steps in my teaching and I work hard to tailor the tuition to meet the individual needs of each child.

This rigorous approach and the resources I use provide the very best preparation for the exam.

I have achieved exam success at Colyton, Torquay Boys`, Torquay Girls`, Churston Ferrers, Exeter School and The Maynard School.

In 2015, with my husband Seb, I set up a tuition company in Exeter. Our drive and ambition is to provide all learners (of any age) the opportunity of a truly personalised and tailor-made tuition.

Our philosophy is that we treat each child as individual and we prepare a programme that will accelerate their learning and allow them to achieve the very best that they can.
We are convinced that Tuition must be provided by experienced professionals. We only employ qualified teachers, with extensive recent experience of working in Schools.

Experience: I have spent most of my career teaching Year 5 & 6 children (9-11 years old) but I have successfully taught every year group within the primary age range. I am very experienced at preparing children for their Year 6 SATs, 11+ exams and Public School entrance exams. I have a particular talent for tailoring my teaching to meet the individual needs of the children - filling the gaps in their knowledge and their skills. I also teach exam techniques to boost progress and achieve the highest possible results.
I take great pride in nurturing the youngsters that I teach, watching them grow in confidence and achieve their goals.
