Information about Georgina
I have a degree in Psychology and have two Masters, one in Education, the other in Forensic Psychology. I also have a PGCE in Religious Education for Secondary Education. I have trained to teach children with dyslexia and I am experienced at working with children with special needs. I also have my grade eight piano and have taught in the past.
Outside of teaching I was a cadet officer for 7 years for St. John ambulance. I have also played football for Ascot ladies as well as my university. I represented my university in the British games in 2004. Currently I help run a Beaver unit within the Scouting group.

Experience: I am a full time teacher of psychology and religion and I have been tutoring for 6 years. I work from primary upto adult in a variety of different subjects. I pride myself at adapting to each student as well as liaising regularly with parents with progress reports.
I have worked as a Head of Department for Religious Education for three years and have turned the grades around from 35% A*-C to 77% A*-C in those three years.
Prior to this, I was Head of PSHE and I have been Second in Department for 8 years in an outstanding school. I have been rated as outstanding by Ofsted and have achieved 100% A*-B at GCSE.
I have marked for edexcel and AQA at GCSE religious education and will be marking for AQA this summer.
I have taught piano and have had 100% success rate where my students have all got merit or higher in their exams.

My daughter is homeschooled and we found Georgina a few weeks before her GCSEs to help her prepare for the Religious Studies exams. Georgina exceeded our expectations and not only prepared my daughter for her exams in terms of showing her how to answer questions, but also topped up her subject knowledge - all in the space of a few weeks. She sent my daughter useful links and set homework between lessons, which was really helpful. She was also kind and inspired confidence in my daughter who was very nervous about her exams.
