Information about Jessica
Student centered approach to learning with an emphasis on each individuals` skills and needs. I am a qualified teacher specialising in English and RE (WJEC, AQA, Edexcel). I have a consistent track record of improving students` results across a broad range of prior attainment levels, including SEN and EAL learners. I have taught KS3-KS5 and I am also involved in KS2 transition, and pride myself on exemplary subject knowledge and an ability to facilitate students in building links in their knowledge.
With a keen interest and background in researching metacognition, I am consistently working in my own school on teaching and learning practices collaboratively with staff and I bring these into tutorials too.
Availability: Tuesday-Thursday 3:30-7:30pm for hourly sessions.
Sunday morning availability upon request.
