Information about Liana
I am a qualified primary teacher with a BA(Hons) degree in Childhood Studies. I teach Phonics, English and Maths and also prepare pupils for the 11+ exams. I tailor my lessons to suit all abilities and my aim is to build confidence and encourage a more independent learning. I am a good communicator, well organised and creative which is reflected on my lessons.
Availability: evenings and weekends

Experience: In the last sixteen years I have worked both in primary and secondary schools and I have taught whole classes, small groups and 1:1. I have experience in teaching pupils with Autism and Asperger`s, Special Educational Needs and those with English as additional language. I am currently working in a primary school setting but I have previously taught Art and Spanish in Key Stage 3 and also Modern Greek language to children and adults.

Liana quickly got our daughter up to speed with her 11+ tutoring in the short time we needed it, quickly identifying and focusing on the areas requiring development. She is very friendly, patient and calm. We would thoroughly recommend her to anyone else.
