My Name is Edvards and I’m an experienced Mathematics teacher, currently working at an Outstanding Secondary School.

I have a first class honors degree from London South Bank University, a PGDE from the Institute of Education (UCL) and an ICF certificate in Integral Development Coaching from New Ventures West. Also, I am a Secondary Mastery Specialist with the the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). I am currently offering mathematics tuition on a 1 to 1 basis for KS1 to KS4 students.

I teach a broad range of classes in KS3 through to KS4. Through my time in the classroom, I have developed a wealth of resources as well as an engaging approach to teaching mathematics to all levels using mastery techniques. I utilize traditional methods such as textbook and worksheet tasks as well as unorthodox exercises such as top trumps, board games and codebreakers.

Availability: I live in the Acton/Chiswick area and I can travel to most places in West London areas. I also offer online tuition.

I charge £40/hour.

I am available on Thursdays, Fridays and weekends as well.

I have 1 to 1 tutoring experience in the west London area.
I currently teach classes from KS3 to KS4 on a full teaching timetable.
I teach students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
I am currently training to become a Secondary Mastery Specialist Teacher.
I am a fully qualified Mathematics Teacher with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Leadership and a DBS certificate.
I have experience preparing KS4 students for external examinations.
I have experience working with Adults preparing for numerical tests.
I have experience preparing students for the 11+ and 13+ examinations.
