Calm, patient and organised! These are attributes I regularly hear from children and parents. I am an experienced Early Years and Lower Primary teacher (25 years) and online tutor (three years). I can support children in phonics, reading, writing and in Maths, moving them quickly onto next steps and plugging gaps in skills and understanding. I currently have several online students from UK and overseas. Each child receives personalised learning that meets their interests and needs, whilst developing key skills and understanding. Learning is engaging and I use different teaching and learning styles throughout each session. Lessons are well paced and skills/understanding are presented in sequence, following next steps/objectives.
Hugely experienced in teaching EAL pupils, I can bring knowledge of language acquisition as well as an understanding of materials that support children learning English as a second language. I am experienced in EYFS, National Curriculum KS1 and IB Primary Years Program. I am also experienced in the delivery of Read Write Inc, All Aboard Phonics and White Rose Maths.

Availability: I am available every evening and I have some slots during weekends. I am also available daytime during school holidays.

Experience: 1998 - Present day: Early years and lower primary teacher in the UK, UAE and Thailand. I am currently working as a supply teacher in South Yorkshire.
2019 - Present day: Part time online tutor to 4-9 year old children following EYFS and British National Curriculum.
