I am currently working as a year 2 class teacher. I have 5 years teaching experience, working in several challenging schools across London.I have experience in tutoring both key stages 1 and key stages 2 and have tutored children for the SATS and the 11 Plus.

I have high expectations of all of my pupils and thrive on knowing my students well and working according to their strengths and weaknesses. Working across different key stages has taught me to adapt my teaching to cater to the specific needs of students and approach tasks with flexibility and sensitivity. These qualities are vital for working with young people who are unique individuals with different aspirations, interests and abilities.

I believe that by transferring my enthusiasm to the pupils I can give them the opportunity to achieve success in all areas of their education and to reach their full potential.

Availability: Weekday evenings and weekend mornings.

Experience: I completed my PGCE course with the ARK Schools Initial teacher training scheme in 2015. This was an intense and rigorous route to QTS which allowed me to develop high standards of teaching and learning.

I carried out my teaching practice at ARK John Keats Academy, a new school, established in one of the most deprived areas in the country. I benefited from being placed in the first year 1 cohort in the school and as a result played an influential role in the development of the school.

After working as a year 1 class teacher for 2 years I then become science lead for year 3 and a teaching mentor for trainee teachers. I am now working as a year 2 teacher in Naphill and Walters Ash.
