Personal Descri ption:
I am a Statistics Graduate from the University of Glasgow. Since graduating, I have been employed as a Youth Worker, and have worked as a Tutor in between times.

Tutoring Approach:
Knowing your student and making sure that they understand you is the most important thing. Often I find that each new student requires a new approach to teach, because everyone is different. I will always ask the student to explain to me what they think I have explained to them, until we understand each other.

Additionally, the student must be kept interested in the subject with new challenges.

I generally start with a diagnostic test, to determine exactly what level the student is at, and then tailor the lessons to the needs of the student.

Availability: I am currently available on week days and weekends, afternoons and evenings.

Willing to travel: 12 miles

Experience: Over the past 5 years I have tutored several different students aged 10 to 16, including those with special needs.
I also have experience working as a teaching assistant for children aged 3 to 14.
Additionally, I have had a couple of adult tutees in the past, studying at High School levels in order to improve their career prospects.
