Information about Sophie
I am a friendly, enthusiastic student studying Biochemistry and French and would love to be able to help you to achieve your own goals in your exams :) I have 5.5 years of tutoring experience in Maths 11 plus and KS3 Maths, GCSE Biology and Chemistry and, French and biology up to A-level. I understand the pressure of A-levels and GCSEs and am always here to support you whether you have worries about them or aren`t sure on how to revise. I am always available to contact and will do my best to respond asap with any questions that you have outside of lesson times.
(For parents worried about maths qualifications, although I was unable to take the final exam, I also have maths up to AS level, achieving an A in the mock exams.)
Availability: I am relatively flexible (I do have my own university timetable) and able to offer after school, evening and sessions during the day too. If you need to change a session, just drop me a message and if needed, I am happy to do one off lessons or weekend lessons too.

Experience: 5 years of experience in tutoring GCSE biology, french and chemistry and maths. 3 years of experience with biology and french A-level. Experience also with students who have additional needs such as dyslexia and Asperger`s and am more than happy to modify lessons to meet additional requirements.

Sophie has been such a support to my daughter with her chemistry GCSE. As a result of Sophie’s help , she is much more confident and positive on the subject and believe Sophie has truly made a difference around the final grade my daughter will get. Shame I didn’t find Sophie on this site earlier.

My daughter has had a couple of lessons with Sophie, and seems very comfortable with her. Sophie gives my daughter the encouragement she needs to try to build up her confidence in maths. Sophie seems very approachable, supportive and accommodating.
