Information about Wendy
I have three children so well understand the pressures and worries of parents and students. I love English and have been teaching for 26 years across KS3 KS4 and A level with great success. I have been an examiner for Edexcel and AQA for English Language and English Literature separately.
I have taught in comprehensives and grammar schools from Year 7 to Year 13 . I teach to help students who are struggling, to help them reach their potential whether they are aiming for Oxbridge or a GCSE pass. But , most of all, I teach to help students feel happier and more confident in their English.
Availability: I am available Mondays,Tuesdays , Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5.00pm . I also teach on Staurday mornings 9 am to 12.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: 26 years teaching across KS3,4,5 . I have taught KS2 students who needed confidence, GCSE students across all abilities and exam boards and A level up to Oxbridge . I have taught in Grammar schools and comprehensives successfully. I have had excellent feedback from students and parents. I have been a head of department, a deputy headteacher and a head of sixth form.
