Information about Laura
Hi, my name is Laura and I am an experienced, practicing primary school teacher who specialises in Early Years and KS1.
I have experience working with children with a wide range of needs and abilities.
I have a passion for making learning fun, hands on and practical. I love sensory activities and learning through playing and exploring in a meaningful way that allows children to consolidate and extend their understanding.
Whatever your childs needs- from confidence building in a particular area, help to catch up, challenging to meet their full potential or help to prepare for their next step in learning- contact me and we can chat.
I am very adaptable and am happy to talk through your individual needs and hopes and make the learning and experiences relevant and appealing to your child.
I am always understanding, kind and patient in my approach, I feel that a positive growth mindset if so important- I want my students to know that getting things wrong is a valuable part of the learning process and to feel the sense of reward that comes from solving a problem.
As a practicing teacher I have a good knowledge of current guidelines, expectations and good practice.

I have good experience with working with groups of mixed age children.
