Experienced teacher with more than 13 years` experience. Currently Head of Biology in a Sixth Form College. I have been giving private tuitions in Science and Maths at GCSE level and Biology and Chemistry at Alevel.
I hold a Master’s degree in Pharmacology of Aging and a PhD in Drug design.

I have an excellent understanding of the knowledge and necessary skills to achieve the best grade possible at GCSE and Alevel. I currently am a moderator, Examiner and Science Practical adviser for OCR and AQA.

Availability: I am available for tuition one to one and online daytime as well as evenings and weekends.

Experience: With over 13 years’ experience, I have successfully supported hundreds of students, from many different backgrounds and many coming with low Science and Maths GCSE grades.
I have a proven record of value added and I have been blessed with grateful students who contact me years later to let me know they are actually pursuing a career they enjoy. I think a successful and fulfilling life comes with the right mindset.

I have been teaching and tutoring for 13 years in Biology Alevel, Chemistry Alevel, GCSE triple Sciences and GCSE Maths and French. I also help students through the UCAS process every year.

I do not only look at what needs to be learned but also HOW to learn to maximise study time for better outcome. Motivation and productivity are an integral part of making the learning process successful.

I can quickly assess strengths and weaknesses to tailor lessons to each student. I set SMART targets from one week to the next so progress is measurable and revisit topics regularly. I use examples, colours and mnemonics for content to make sense and be memorable.
