My name is Rebecca and I am a qualified teacher with an Enhanced DBS certificate and up to date safeguarding training, SENCO and I have previously been a Head Teacher.  I am a member of The Tutor Association (TTA) and the Out of School Alliance.

In My Spare Time, I enjoy lots of different activities including playing the flute, reading, watching films, playing with my red fox Labrador, spending time with my partner Paul in the beautiful Devon countryside and Cornish Coastline and anything creative such as dabbling with paints, drawing, working on mosaics and Lino Printing.

Experience: I have 28 years of experience in Primary Education and have also led and managed a successful school nursery.

I started teaching in 1997 and have taught in all age groups from 2 to 11.

Since I started teaching I have been a Deputy Head for 9 1/2 years in two different schools and a Head Teacher for 11 years in a rural, village location with two successful Ofsteds during my time there.

For the past 5 years I have been a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Leader (SENCO) alongside my Headship. I have also been a safeguarding officer and the Designated Teacher for Children in Care for many years.
